Overview
The State Institutional Ranking Framework (SIRF), launched by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh, aims to provide a comprehensive and transparent ranking of educational institutions within the state.
The SIRF ranking system evaluates institutions based on key parameters that reflect their overall quality and contribution to higher education. These parameters include:
1. Faculty Quality and Engagement Index (Weightage: 35)
- Faculty-Student Ratio: 7 Marks
- Faculty Qualification Index: 7 Marks
- Average Faculty Experience: 4 Marks
- Faculty Development, Professional Engagement, and Research: 12 Marks
- Industrial Training/NITTR: 3 Marks
- Conference Participation: 3 Marks
- Online Courses: 2 Marks
- Research Productivity: 4 Marks
- Student Attendance Index: 3 Marks
- Faculty Participation in Higher Education: 2 Marks
2. Infrastructure Quality Index (Weightage: 35)
- Laboratories and Workshop Facilities: 10 Marks
- Hostel Facility: 6 Marks
- Basic Amenities Availability, 8 Marks
- Library Resources Accessibility: 5 Marks
- Industrial Training/NITTR: 3 Marks
