Overview

The State Institutional Ranking Framework (SIRF), launched by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh, aims to provide a comprehensive and transparent ranking of educational institutions within the state.

The SIRF ranking system evaluates institutions based on key parameters that reflect their overall quality and contribution to higher education. These parameters include:

1. Faculty Quality and Engagement Index (Weightage: 35)
2. Infrastructure Quality Index (Weightage: 35)
3. Extra-Curricular Activities Index (Weightage: 20)
4. Examination and Evaluation Activities Reforms Index (Weightage: 10)
5. Practical/Labs Productivity Index (Weightage: 35)
6. Research Publications/Projects (Weightage: 35)
7. Workshops and Seminars (Weightage: 20)
8. Degree Outcomes (Weightage: 30)
9. Campus and Placement Activities (Weightage: 40)
10. Start-up and Innovation (Weightage: 40)

The SIRF aims to provide a transparent and competitive environment for institutions in Uttar Pradesh to improve their standards, enhance their global competitiveness, and offer better educational opportunities to students across the state.
